Bollard lights are short outdoor fixtures, usually 400 mm to 800 mm tall, that light paths and driveways from low level without glare. GS LIGHT builds 21 bollard series for pathway, garden, park, hotel, villa, parking and commercial landscape projects, with die cast aluminum housings, IP65 sealing and beam patterns that suit each layout.
Heights, wattages, color temperatures, finishes and optics vary by series, and each one can be customized for residential, commercial and public projects such as walkways, entrances, courtyards and plazas. The full landscape lighting products range covers the rest of the scheme, from inground uplights to garden spikes.

A bollard light is a short, ground mounted fixture that lights the surface around it, while a pole light mounts several meters up and covers a much wider area from above. Bollards mark the edge of a route and keep light at ankle and knee height, which is why they suit walkways, garden edges and entrances. GS LIGHT builds 21 series with IP65 housings, 2700K to 6500K sources and anti glare optics.
LED Bollard Lights feature die-cast aluminum and extruded aluminum alloy housing structures, providing high mechanical strength, excellent heat dissipation, and corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor applications such as parks, gardens, walkways, and commercial landscapes.
IP65 covers dust and water jets, which is only part of what a bollard faces. Standing near ground level, it also takes UV, soil moisture, sprinkler water, knocks from mowers and bikes, and daily temperature swings. GS LIGHT bollards combine IP65 sealing, anti UV diffusers, powder coated aluminum, IK08 impact resistance as standard with IK10 on selected series, and sealed cable entries. The same sealing approach runs through the GS LIGHT LED garden lights range.
For coastal hotels and resorts, electrophoretic pretreatment under an outdoor powder coat can be specified by project. Ask for the salt spray test standard and duration for the series you are considering.
Choose the distribution before the style. Single sided optics light one edge of a path or a building perimeter. Dual head designs such as the BE series light both sides from a centerline. Open grille series such as the BA throw light all round for plazas and parks. Shielded downward optics keep the source out of view at hotels, villas and residential paths, and decorative patterns such as those on the BD series put a design on the ground. Where people walk at night, judge a bollard by its shielding and lens depth, not only by its wattage.
Different optics produce different effects: the BD Series offers four beam patterns, while the BA Series throws light in all directions for open plazas.
Spacing follows the optic and the fixture height. As a starting point, space bollards at 2.5 to 3 times their height for a continuous wash along a path, so 600 mm fixtures sit roughly 1.5 to 2 meters apart, and stretch that to 3 to 4 meters when the goal is orientation rather than even coverage. Lumen output, installation position, target illuminance and surface reflectance all shift those numbers, so final positions come from an IES or DIALux layout.

The BQ Series adopts an integrated driver design, placing the driver inside the lamp body to reduce exposure to external environmental factors. This structure creates a cleaner appearance while improving installation convenience. Combined with high-quality LED components, it supports stable operation for outdoor landscape lighting applications.
LED Bollard Lights use various diffuser materials including anti-UV polycarbonate, PMMA, clear glass, and tempered glass according to different series requirements. These materials provide stable light transmission, weather resistance, and aging protection, helping maintain lighting performance and appearance quality during long-term outdoor exposure.
LED Bollard Lights BZ Series integrate multiple functional components to improve overall performance in outdoor applications. The extruded aluminum alloy heatsink enhances heat dissipation, while the detachable head design simplifies maintenance access.

Bollards stand at knee height in rain, sprinkler spray, soil and salt air, so the first question is whether they will still seal, hold their color and light evenly after years outdoors. GS LIGHT builds them in die cast and extruded aluminum with anti UV diffusers, tests them in its own laboratory for waterproofing, salt spray, aging, IK impact and photometric output, and shields the source so the light lands on the path and stays out of the eye. Height, RAL color, color temperature, optic, base and sensor can all be matched to the landscape design, and our engineers return a spacing and layout recommendation with every project quote.

GS LIGHT combines manufacturing capacity with engineering support to deliver LED lighting for global partners: flexible customization, direct technical communication, and project cooperation from concept to delivery.
GS LIGHT Custom Lighting Capabilities
A complete development process runs from concept evaluation and engineering design to prototyping, production and delivery, which takes a drawing or a sample through to finished fixtures.
Landscape and architectural projects in 150+ countries stand behind these fixtures. Walkway and park schemes show how bollard heights, beam patterns and spacing come together on site, starting with the Volgograd waterfront park in Russia. Send a site plan and our engineers return a layout for your own scheme.
Bollard height and optic follow the space they light:
Bollards are short fixtures, typically 400 mm to 800 mm tall, that light the ground immediately around them; pole lights mount several meters up and cover a much larger area. Use bollards where people walk and where a tall pole would look wrong. Use pole lights for parking lots, roads and open areas that need coverage rather than edge definition.
Pick 400 mm to 600 mm for garden paths and borders, and 600 mm to 800 mm for public walkways, plazas and parking routes. As a starting point, space bollards at 2.5 to 3 times their height for a continuous wash, or 3 to 4 meters apart where they only mark the route. Taller fixtures spread light further; final spacing follows the lumen output and the optic, so ask for a layout.
Yes, with the right specification. Housings are die cast or extruded aluminum with IP65 sealing, IK08 impact resistance as standard and IK10 on selected series. On the coast the IP rating is not enough on its own: specify the coating system, the fasteners and the gasket material too, and ask for the salt spray test results for the series you choose.
Every series covers 2700K to 6500K, and selected series support dimming, motion sensing and smart control. 2700K suits hotels, villas and residential gardens; 3000K is the most widely used premium landscape temperature; 4000K suits commercial frontages, parks and public areas that need a clearer, neutral light. Keep 5000K to 6500K for specific functional needs rather than as a landscape default.
Most series carry a 5 year warranty, and the BQ, BT, BD and BG series carry 3 to 5 years depending on configuration. Rated life is above 50,000 hours. Detachable heads on selected series mean a driver or module can be replaced on site rather than swapping the whole fixture.
