The project covers a waterfront park and municipal bridge area in Volgograd, with two distinct lighting applications.
The waterfront park requires low-level lighting for pedestrian pathways and outdoor public spaces. The municipal bridge piers require focused illumination of vertical structural surfaces beneath the bridge.
GS LIGHT supplied the lighting products for both applications, using different fixture configurations according to the function of each area.

The project involved different outdoor lighting conditions and spatial requirements, requiring more than one lighting format.
The lighting products needed suitable protection for outdoor installation.
The Bollard Lights used in the park are rated IP65, while the RGBW Wall Washer Lights used for the bridge piers are rated IP66.
The park requires lighting positioned close to pedestrian level rather than relying only on high-mounted fixtures.
The project therefore uses 900mm-high Bollard Lights for low-level outdoor lighting.
Different areas within the park may require light to be distributed in different directions.
The project therefore uses both single-sided and double-sided Bollard Lights.
The municipal bridge piers require a lighting solution designed around vertical structural surfaces beneath the bridge.
The project uses 24W RGBW Wall Washer Lights with a 30° beam angle for this application.
For the park areas, GS LIGHT supplied two Bollard Light configurations rather than using the same light distribution everywhere.
The single-sided version was used where illumination was primarily required toward one side of the pedestrian area. The double-sided version was used where lighting was required in two directions. Both configurations use a 900 mm height and 2700 K color temperature, maintaining a consistent visual appearance while allowing the light distribution to follow the site layout.
For the bridge, the lighting requirement was different. The supplied RGBW Wall Washer Lights use a 30° beam angle and DMX512 control, providing directional illumination and programmable RGBW output for the bridge structures.

The park uses 887 LED Bollard Lights for low-level outdoor lighting. The project includes: 664 pcs Double-Sided Bollard Lights and 223 pcs Single-Sided Bollard Lights
Both versions use a 900 mm height, 2700K CCT, CRI >80 and IP65 protection, maintaining a consistent lighting appearance across the park while providing different light directions where required.

The municipal bridge piers use 393 RGBW Wall Washer Lights installed beneath the bridge.
The fixtures use a 30° beam angle to provide focused illumination for the bridge structures. The RGBW light source also provides flexible color options for nighttime lighting effects.

Used beneath the municipal bridge piers to direct light onto vertical structural surfaces. The 30° beam angle provides focused light distribution, while RGBW enables different nighttime lighting colors and effects.
For this project, GS LIGHT developed and supplied customized LED lighting products and solutions according to the customer's requirements. Based on the lighting applications, installation conditions and required fixture configurations, the product specifications were coordinated before production.
After the customized products and project solution were confirmed, GS LIGHT arranged manufacturing, quality control, packaging and shipment to support the customer's installation schedule.
The customer provided site photos showing the lighting fixtures after installation. The luminaires had been installed, while the overall construction project was still ongoing.
These photos provide a direct view of how the Bollard Lights were positioned throughout the park and how the RGBW Wall Washer Lights were installed beneath the municipal bridge piers.
For project-driven lighting, value is not simply measured by the number of luminaires supplied. It comes from how efficiently a manufacturer can turn different requirements into a coordinated, manufacturable and deliverable solution.
This project reflects the role GS LIGHT aims to play for its customers — combining product expertise, manufacturing capability and project coordination to reduce sourcing complexity and provide a dependable path from specification to delivery.

Below are some of the practical questions project contractors, lighting designers and distributors may consider when evaluating similar outdoor lighting solutions.
The two configurations were used according to the required lighting direction and pathway layout. Single-sided units were used where light was mainly required toward one side, while double-sided units were used where illumination was required in two directions.
The bridge lighting required more than fixed white illumination. RGBW output combined with DMX512 control allows the lighting to produce different colors and dynamic lighting effects.
For a project quotation, useful information includes the project location, site or lighting layout, approximate quantities, required fixture types, beam angles, color temperature or color output, control requirements and expected delivery schedule.
The installation position, distance from the illuminated surface, beam angle and orientation of the fixture should be considered together. For bridge pier applications, the goal is to direct the light toward the structural surface rather than simply providing general area lighting.
A narrow or focused beam can be useful when the lighting objective is to concentrate light onto a defined structural surface. The Wall Washer Lights used in this project feature a 30° beam angle, providing a focused distribution for the bridge pier application.
