LED high bay lights are high output fixtures for ceilings from 5 to 25 meters, built to light a warehouse or factory floor evenly from that height. GS LIGHT manufactures UFO and linear high bays from 50W to 400W, rated at 140 to 200 lm/W, with IP65 and IP66 housings, 0 to 10V and DALI dimming, and a 5 year warranty. Send your floor plan and ceiling height and a lighting solution comes back within 24 hours.

A high bay light is an industrial fixture for ceilings from 5 to 25 meters, with optics that push light down to the floor. That is about 15 to 80 feet. Ordinary fixtures lose too much light over the distance, leaving dark patches between racks and machines.
High bay or low bay comes down to ceiling height. Below about 5 meters, a low bay fixture with a wide beam covers the floor without glare. Above it, a high bay with a 60° or 90° optic carries the light down. The taller the ceiling, the narrower the beam. Use a 120° optic in a 5 to 8 meter workshop and a 60° optic in a 20 meter warehouse.
GS LIGHT builds two shapes. Round UFO fixtures suit open floor areas and general illumination; linear fixtures suit rack aisles, production lines and rectangular bays. Our guide on how to choose the right LED high bay works through wattage, optics and IP ratings for each case.
The LED high bay series is built for warehouses, factories, logistics centers and industrial workshops, with efficiency, durability and control options that cover most high ceiling requirements.

The range runs from 50W to 400W at 140 to 200 lm/W. Start from the application, then the series:
General warehouse and factory floors: U7 and U8 series, with selectable power on the U7.
Maximum efficiency: U15 series at up to 200 lm/W. Higher efficacy means fewer watts for the same light: 150W at 200 lm/W gives the same 30,000 lumens as 200W at 150 lm/W.
High temperature areas: U11 series, rated for ambient temperatures up to 90°C.
Food processing: U14 series and the NSF food high bay.
Rack aisles and production lines: L2, L3 and L4 linear series.
Sensor and DALI control: available across the range for warehouses that dim empty aisles.
High strength die cast aluminum housings with sealing rubber strips hold the IP65 rating through years of service, and the U11 high temperature series carries IP66.
That rating covers dust and water jets from any direction, which makes these fixtures suitable for covered outdoor positions such as loading docks, canopies, gas station forecourts and open sided industrial sheds, as well as washdown areas indoors. For fully exposed positions, ask for the IP66 models and a corrosion assessment for the site.
The U7 series combines selectable power with selectable color temperature: 100W, 150W, 200W, 240W and 320W, with color temperatures from 3000K to 6500K.
One part number then covers several rooms. A distributor can stock one fixture and set it on site for a warehouse aisle, a workshop or a retail stockroom. That cuts inventory and the risk of ordering the wrong variant.
Emergency battery kits are optional on the high bay range, with 30, 60 and 90 minute versions, to keep an escape route lit when power fails in warehouses, workshops and plants. The required duration and fixture positions follow local life safety rules, so confirm them with the safety officer before ordering. The same option is available on GS LIGHT LED tri proof lights for lower ceilings.
Food plants need fixtures that clean easily and survive washdown. The U14 food series uses a single piece die cast aluminum housing with smooth surfaces and no crevices, so it wipes clean and collects little dust, and the same structure moves heat away from the LEDs for stable output through long shifts.
Housing colors can be customized to plant standards. Where the project calls for NSF certification over exposed product, specify the NSF food high bay and request its certificate with the quotation.
An optional PC or aluminum reflector controls glare and raises usable light on the floor by up to 30%.
Lenses come in 60°, 90° and 120°, covering high shed warehouses, production lines, logistics centers, workshops, supermarkets and cold chain rooms. As starting points, 60° suits high mounting or concentrated distribution, 90° general open areas, and 110° to 120° lower mounting and wide zones. Final optics come from a photometric layout, since aisle width, rack height, spacing and the uniformity target all change the answer.

Matching installation accessories ship with the fixtures: U bracket, 0.3 m safety rope, M10 and M12 external threads, and stainless steel hanging chains.

Manufacturing
High volume delivery: complete production lines and skilled assembly teams, so large or urgent orders ship on schedule.
Tiered pricing: prices step down with order quantity, which matters most on multi building projects.
Quality control and testing
Incoming inspection: LED chips, drivers and housings are checked when they arrive.
In house laboratory: aging, vibration, high temperature simulation, waterproof, voltage and integrating sphere tests.
Final inspection: appearance, assembly, wiring, labels and packing before shipment.
Engineering support
A photometric layout with fixture count, mounting height, spacing, lux and uniformity, plus an energy comparison against the existing installation.
Customization of power, color temperature, size and housing color, plus sensor and emergency modules.

High bay products carry the certifications a project needs for customs clearance, insurance and site approval:
Copies for your model are available with the quotation, and the full set sits on the GS LIGHT certifications page. For markets that require DLC or UL and ETL listing, ask before ordering so we can confirm which models are covered.

Choosing a high bay comes down to ceiling height, the work happening below it, and what the air does to the fixture:
Mr. Carter
At first, we compared five suppliers The tiered quotations and complete certification documents provided by GS make us feel very at ease. They may not be the cheapest, but their cost performance is definitely the best.
Mr. Rossi
The lighting is indeed very bright, and the entire workshop feels as bright as day. But the most remarkable thing is that it is not dazzling at all. Employees have reported that their eyes are much more comfortable than before, and they don't get tired easily even after working for a long time. This is very helpful for us to improve efficiency and reduce error rates.
Ceiling height decides it: low bay fixtures suit ceilings below about 5 meters, high bay fixtures suit 5 to 25 meters. Low bays spread light wide over a short distance. High bays use narrower 60° or 90° optics to carry light to the floor without glare or dark patches between fixtures.
As starting points: 50W to 100W at 4 to 6 meters, 100W to 150W at 6 to 8 meters, 150W to 200W at 8 to 12 meters, 200W to 300W at 12 to 18 meters, and 300W to 400W above 18 meters. Target about 150 to 300 lux in storage areas and 300 to 500 lux over workshops and production lines. A 1,000 m² warehouse with 8 meter ceilings is usually covered by 150W fixtures spaced 5 to 6 meters apart. Send the floor plan and ceiling height and GS LIGHT returns a photometric layout with the fixture count.
UFO fixtures suit open floor areas and general illumination; linear fixtures suit rack aisles, production lines and rectangular bays. Linear models spread light along their length, which fills the gaps between tall shelving. UFO models concentrate output from one point, which covers more floor per fixture in open spaces.
Yes, on models ordered with dimming drivers. The common options are 0 to 10V, widely used in industrial buildings and the simpler of the two, and DALI, which supports group control and precise levels across a building network. Microwave sensors and wireless control are available on the same fixtures.
Rated life is above 50,000 hours, which is more than 17 years at 8 hours a day, and every series carries a 5 year warranty. Housings are IP65, with IP66 on the U11 high temperature series. Keep fixtures clear of obstructions, leave room for air around the housing, and clean the lenses on a schedule so dust does not trap heat.
